Conservation Planning Workshop on Bowmouth Guitarfish

From 12-14 May 2025, the Research and Learning Centre hosted over 60 experts from 19 aquariums and institutions for the Bowmouth Guitarfish (Rhina ancylostomus) Population Viability Analysis workshop. Organised in collaboration with the Shark Ray 360 Steering Committee, the workshop brought together global experts to develop conservation plans for the beloved Bowmouth Guitarfish.

CITES Global Youth Summit

The Research and Learning Centre hosted a workshop on 28 May as part of the CITES Global Youth Summit, held from 27-31 May 2025, following the Opening Ceremony at Singapore Oceanarium. Organised by the CITES Global Youth Network and supported by various partners, the Summit gathered youth from over 50 countries to address challenges in illegal wildlife trade.
