Earn your PADI AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty Certification with an unforgettable dive alongside some of the ocean's most remarkable sharks, including the Silvertip, Sandbar, and Scalloped Hammerhead sharks. This course offers certified divers a chance to explore the vital role of sharks in marine ecosystems while encountering them up close in the Open Ocean habitat and Shark Seas habitat.
The course begins with a knowledge review, refreshing essential dive theory, safety procedures, and shark conservation efforts. This is followed by a skill review in a controlled environment, ensuring divers are confident in key techniques such as buoyancy control and regulator recovery before heading into open water.
The highlight of the course is two open-water dives, where participants refine their skills while observing sharks in their natural environment. By the end of the programme, divers gain both practical experience and a deeper understanding of marine conservation.
Upon completion, participants receive the PADI AWARE Shark Conservation Specialty Certification. The course runs on Friday, lasting a full day with a morning classroom session, a dive in the Open Ocean Habitat, and a second dive in the Shark Seas after lunch. The price includes certification, two dives, and all necessary equipment.
