Ticketing Terms and Conditions

Singapore Oceanarium / Marine Mammal Habitat / Dive Programmes / Adventure Cove Waterpark / Research and Learning Centre

The terms "We", “Us” and “Our” refers to the Singapore Oceanarium, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), Genting Singapore Group, and all associated entities, subsidiaries, and affiliates. This includes any and all companies, organizations, and legal entities that are part of or associated with the Genting Singapore Group.

Standard Terms and Conditions

  1. Non-transferable, non-refundable, and not for sale or exchange. This applies to the following, including events outside our control; governmental acts, acts of God, riots, strikes, natural disasters, haze or inclement weather (regardless of severity).
  2. Void if altered, tampered with, or damaged.
  3. Applicable for admission during regular park operating hours, but not valid during Exclusive Events.
  4. Regular Park operating hours are subject to change without prior notice.
  5. Hand stamp and ticket are required for same day re-entry into Singapore Oceanarium and Adventure Cove Waterpark.
  6. Please be mindful of your safety and belongings at all times, as we shall not be liable for any damage or loss that you may suffer arising from your use of Singapore Oceanarium, Marine Mammal Habitat, Adventure Cove Waterpark, and Research and Learning Centre, whether such damage or loss is caused by our negligence or otherwise.
  7. For the safety of all our guests, team members and marine animals, bags are subject to inspection before entry.
  8. You acknowledge that failure to follow posted guidelines may result in serious injury or expulsion from Singapore Oceanarium, Marine Mammal Habitat, Adventure Cove Waterpark, and Research and Learning Centre.
  9. You hereby consent to our collection, use and disclosure of your personal data for purposes related to the processing of your booking and other related activities in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and our Personal Data Protection Statement (available at our website). Purposes include, but are not limited to:                      
    1. processing and confirming your booking.
    2. notify you about your booking via RWS’s authorized service provider.                                                                            
    3. verifying your identity.                                                                      
    4. responding to, handling, and processing your queries, requests and feedback.                                                                      
    5. processing payment.                                                           
    6. complying with any applicable laws, regulations, codes of practice, guidelines, or rules, or to assist in law enforcement and investigations conducted by any governmental and/or regulatory authority, related to this booking.                                   
    7. transmitting to any unaffiliated third parties including our third-party service providers and agents, and relevant governmental and/or regulatory authorities, whether in Singapore or abroad, for the aforementioned purposes related to this booking;              
    8. any other incidental business purposes related to or in connection with the above, related to this booking.
  10. All rates stated on the Singapore Oceanarium website are subjected to changes without prior notice.
  11. “Adult" refers to individuals aged 13 to 59, "Child" refers to individuals aged 4 to 12, and "Senior" refers to individuals aged 60 and above.
  12. Payment Terms: Pre-payment must be made via a valid Credit Card or such other payment methods which RWS may accept at all time before the tickets ordered hereunder are issued.
  13. Cancellation and Amendment Policies: The ticket order as set out in this Order Confirmation (as defined below) shall be deemed final. Once the ticket order has been confirmed (as shown in the order confirmation), it is considered final—you cannot cancel or change the order. No refunds, exchanges, or modifications will typically be allowed after this point. 
  14. We reserve the right to amend, delete and/or add to these terms and conditions without prior notice at its sole and absolute discretion.
  15. Redemption: The redemption letter is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to cancel or modify redemptions where it appears that a customer has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the redemptions contain or resulted from a mistake or error.
  16. Any resale of tickets/vouchers is strictly prohibited unless authorized in writing by Us and We reserve the right to invalidate tickets/vouchers in connection with any fraudulent/unauthorized resale transaction, without refund or other compensation. Tickets/Vouchers only allows for a one (1) - time use only. If it is determined by Us that there are multiple copies/usages of the ticket, usage of the ticket will be denied. In the event of any dispute, a final decision shall be made based on our electronic record.
  17. Other Terms and Conditions apply.
  18. By entering Singapore Oceanarium, Marine Mammal Habitat, Adventure Cove Waterpark, Research and Learning Centre and/or purchasing tickets to the stated Attraction, you agree to the above Terms and Conditions.

Restrictions:

  1. Outside food and beverages are not permitted except infant formula.
  2. Proper attire must be worn at all times.
  3. Guests wearing full-face masks, helmets, full face painting or any other type of head gear that hide the entire face will not be admitted to Singapore Oceanarium. For complete costume guidelines, please refer to Admission Guidelines for Guests in Costumes below.
  4. Guests may not be admitted to the park if costume worn can disrupt public order, incite trouble, is morally offensive or violates public decency laws.
  5. No smoking except at designated areas.
  6. Motorised or wheeled mobility equipment is not allowed, including but not limited to; skate-scooters, in-line skates, roller-blades, unicycles, Segways, bicycles, tricycles and pull-trolleys. However, Personal Mobility Aids (PMAs) are allowed subject to terms and conditions.
  7. For the safety of your children, please ensure that they are supervised at all times.
  8. Photography (with no flash), video recording are only permitted inside Singapore Oceanarium. Photography and videography are strictly not allowed inside the Marine Mammal Habitat.
  9. Guests must not film or photograph in Singapore Oceanarium for any promotional or commercial purpose unless approved in writing by Us.

Singapore Oceanarium

  1. Tickets are dated, unless otherwise specified.
  2. Your e-Ticket(s) will be delivered as a PDF file attachment along with your confirmation email after purchasing the tickets online.
  3. Print or present the PDF e-Ticket(s) for admission to Singapore Oceanarium. The booking confirmation does not serve as an admission ticket.
  4. Singapore Oceanarium operating hours are subjected to changes without prior notice. Guests may visit website's Visitor Information page for updates prior to visit.
  5. Additional Rules and Regulations apply.

Singapore Oceanarium Programmes (includes Research and Learning Centre)

  1. Standard Terms and Conditions apply.
  2. Singapore Oceanarium Programmes are subject to additional terms and conditions as may be found on the Singapore Oceanarium website and/or at the point of purchase for the respective programmes.
  3. For specific requirements related to each - Singapore Oceanarium Programme , including Immersive Programmes, Promotions, or Add-Ons, please visit the relevant programme pages on our website at https://www.singaporeoceanarium.com/en/visit/immersive-programmes.html , where more detailed information and terms can be found for each offering.

Marine Mammal Habitat 

  1. All Marine Mammal Habitat interaction programmes include:
    1. One-day ticket to Adventure Cove Waterpark or Singapore Oceanarium (unless otherwise stated).
    2. No loose articles are allowed to be brought onto Marine Mammal Habitat. Use of  Marine Mammal Habitat lockers, wetsuits and flotation devices are complimentary but limited to the duration of the interaction programme only.
    3. Additional height and age restrictions apply for selected programmes.
    4. Guests must arrive and be ready in swimming attire within 30 minutes prior to the commencement of each programme. 
    5. Rescheduling: Admin fees apply for any rescheduling within the stated time on the programme Terms and Conditions.
    6. Photography and videography are strictly not allowed. An official photographer will be available onsite to capture the experience. Separate fees apply for purchase of photographs. our identity.                                                          
  2. By participating in the Programme, guests agree, on behalf of themselves and their children/legal wards, to assume all risks arising out of or incidental to participation in the Programme. Guests further authorise immediate medical treatment to be carried out by Us for themselves and their children/legal wards at their cost, if the need arises.

Dive Programmes

  1. Advance booking of at least 7 days prior to the programme is required unless stated otherwise.
  2. For more information , please refer to the specific Terms and Conditions related to the Dive programmes.
  3. Strictly no refunds will be applicable after registration. Participants who withdraw or do not turn up for the programme will not be entitled to any refunds.
  4. Participants to arrive 30 minutes prior to the programme at the Adventure Cove Waterpark™ Ticketing Counter. Adventure Cove Waterpark™ reserves the right to refuse admission to the programme for latecomers.
  5. Only programme participants are permitted within the training grounds and back-of-house area.
  6. Participants must not engage in air travel within 12 hours for a single dive and within 18 hours after repetitive dives, from the end of the dive(s).
  7. The minimum age for participation is 10 years old unless stated otherwise. The programme date must be on or after the 10th birthday of the participant.
  8. Participants must complete and sign the liability and medical/health declaration forms onsite before diving. Participants under the age of 21 must have a parent/legal guardian present onsite to complete and sign the liability and medical/health declaration forms.
  9. Participants are strongly advised to read the instructions and review the liability and medical/health declaration forms prior to registration. Chronic health conditions, certain medications, and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving. For clarification, please contact experiences@singaporeoceanarium.com.
  10. Dive experiences where diver's certification is required, participants will be contacted to submit certification for verification purpose.
  11. Participants are required to be in proper swimwear. Wetsuits will be provided during the interaction.
  12. Programme is non-exclusive and limited to a maximum of 8 participants per session. Subject to availability.
  13. All programmes are weather permitting and subject to change.
  14. External wetsuits are not permitted within the aquarium.
  15. Personal diving gear such as buoyancy control devices (BCDs), masks, dive computers, booties, and fins are allowed.
  16. Personal regulators may be used only if accompanied by a valid service report dated within the past 12 months or a purchase receipt issued within the last year.
  17. Photography and videography are strictly not allowed.
  18. We reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  19. We reserve the right to cancel or postpone reservations due to unforeseen circumstances.
  20. We reserve the right to deny participation.
  21. Additional Rules and Regulations apply.
  22. Participants will be required to select the date on which to attend the program they have registered for. In the event that a participant is unable to attend on the selected date, a request sent to experiences@singaporeoceanarium.com must be made at least 7 days prior to the selected date to reschedule. Such request to reschedule must be accompanied by valid reasons and will only be considered at RWS’ discretion In any event, participants will only be allowed to reschedule up to three (3) months from the date originally selected.   Deferment or extension of the validity period for the program will not be entertained regardless of medical or personal reasons.

Adventure Cove Waterpark

  1. Tickets are dated, unless otherwise specified.
  2. Your e-Ticket(s) will be delivered as a PDF file attachment along with your confirmation email after purchasing the tickets online.
  3. Print or present the PDF e-Ticket(s) for admission to Adventure Cove Waterpark. The booking confirmation does not serve as admission ticket.
  4. Adventure Cove Waterpark One-Day Ticket does not include chargeable programs.
  5. Adventure Cove Waterpark operating hours are subjected to changes without prior notice. Guest may visit website's Visitor Information page for updates prior to visit.
  6. Additional Park Rules and Regulations apply. A copy of said rules is available in the Adventure Cove Guide Map and at Adventure Cove Waterpark Guest Services.

Meal Voucher(s) (MV)

  1. Valid at participating outlets within Singapore Oceanarium (unless otherwise stated on the voucher). 
  2. Vouchers cannot be used for souvenirs (unless otherwise stated on the voucher). 
  3. Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, vouchers or discounts. 
  4. Voucher(s) must be utilized on the same day of visit to Singapore Oceanarium.  
  5. Vouchers are valid for one (1) - time use only and are nonexchangeable for cash and non-refundable. 
  6. No refund or change will be given if purchase value is less than voucher value. 
  7. Minimum Spending or Maximum Voucher per transaction are applicable if stated on voucher(s). 
  8. Only redeemable during Singapore Oceanarium operating hours up to 30 minutes prior to posted closing time.

Retail Voucher(s) (RV)

  1. Valid at any retail outlet within Singapore Oceanarium (unless otherwise stated on the voucher).
  2. Voucher is not valid for purchase of souvenir photos.
  3. Voucher cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offers, discounts or other vouchers. Product exclusion applies.
  4. Voucher(s) must be utilised on the same day of visit to Singapore Oceanarium (separate admission ticket required for admission into Singapore Oceanarium).
  5. Vouchers are valid for one (1) - time use only and are non-exchangeable for cash non-refundable.
  6. No refund or change will be given if purchase value is less than voucher value.
  7. Minimum Spending or Maximum Voucher per transaction are applicable if stated on voucher(s).

RWS Attractions SEASON PASS Ticket Terms & Conditions (applicable to Season Passes for Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Oceanarium and Adventure Cove Waterpark)

  1. The Season Pass must be presented at all times for admission and to enjoy the Season Pass’s benefits and discounts.
  2. Valid Season Pass must be presented for admission or re-entry into its corresponding park (i.e., Universal Studios Singapore Season Pass for Universal Studios Singapore, Singapore Oceanarium Season Pass for Singapore Oceanarium, and Adventure Cove Waterpark Season Pass for Adventure Cove Waterpark).
  3. The Season Pass is valid for entry during normal park operating hours with unlimited usage for 6 months from the selected first visit date at point of purchase, except for special events that require a separate admission ticket.   4. For the purpose of calculating the Season Pass validity period, a duration of “6 (six) months” shall be defined as 183 consecutive calendar days, inclusive of start date (i.e. selected first visit date at point of purchase) and end date. 
  5. Park operating hours are subjected to change without prior notice, guest may visit https://www.rwsentosa.com for updates prior to visit.
  6. Valid for one (1) guest.
  7. Non-transferable.
  8. Not for sale or exchange.
  9. Non-refundable, even in cases of inclement weather.
  10. Void if altered.
  11. Strictly no outside food or beverages permitted.
  12. Not to be used for promotional purposes unless approved in writing by RWS.
  13. RWS reserves the right to vary or amend any terms and conditions or benefits entitlements without prior notice.
  14. Re-entry is allowed. Do present your Season Pass upon re-entry.
  15. Triple Play Park Passholder is entitled to redeem only one (1) complimentary car park entry per day, regardless of the number of parks visited. Complimentary parking coupons may be redeemed by the Passholder using a valid Triple Park Season Pass at Guest Services counter inside the parks. Car park benefits apply only to adult Triple Park Season Passholders.
  16. RWS reserves the right to terminate any guest’s Season Pass without liability in the event of (a) breach of terms and conditions of the Season pass; (b) abuse of benefits; or (c) false declaration of personal information.
  17. RWS reserves the right to require you to update your personal data, including your photo profile to ensure the accuracy of your records. 
  18. RWS reserves the right to amend or add to the Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Singapore Oceanarium Wheelchair Rental

  1. The wheelchair is strictly for use *within Singapore Oceanarium*. It must not be taken outside the park grounds.
  2. The wheelchair is designed for 1 person of weight not exceeding 130kg (286 lbs). 
  3. Present your ticket to collect your wheelchair from the Singapore Oceanarium Entrance.
  4. Not for sale or exchange.
  5. Non-refundable.
  6. The wheelchair is rented for the duration of a single day, during Singapore Oceanarium operating hours.
  7. The wheelchair must be returned at the Singapore Oceanarium exit prior to leaving the premises.
  8. Guests are responsible for using the wheelchair safely and appropriately. Singapore Oceanarium is not liable for any injuries or damage resulting from improper use.

Exclusive Events (applicable whenever the Event/Programmes are made available) Standard Terms and Conditions apply

  1. A separate Event ticket is required for Exclusive Events. Exclusive Event operating hours are subject to change without prior notice.
  2. We reserve the right to refuse or expel any Guest whose conduct is objectionable including, but not limited to the following actions:
    1. Line jumping, use of foul language and/or inappropriate behavior.
    2. Mistreatment and/or abuse of Team Members.
  3. Exclusive Events Terms and Conditions apply.

Admission Guidelines for Guests in Costumes

  1. Guests wearing full-face paint, masks, helmets, or other types of headgear that hide the entire face will not be admitted into the Singapore Oceanarium.
  2. Guests may not be admitted to Singapore Oceanarium if costume worn can disrupt public order (including clothing that exposes an excessive amount of skin, revealing clothing deemed unfit for the Singapore Oceanarium, underwear that is visible, clothing that appears to be underwear, or clothing that gives the illusion of nudity), incite trouble, is morally offensive or violates public decency laws.
  3. Guests with attire or cosmetics that make it difficult to identify an individual's actual face or physique, thereby interfering with Singapore Oceanarium security in the event of an emergency, is not allowed.
  4. Guests may not be admitted if any costume elements of props carried will disrupt aquarium operations (e.g., Body paint that smears on habitats and cosmetic glitter that falls out).
  5. Guests may not be admitted to the aquarium if props carried or costume elements such as wings are taller than 1.8m in height and longer than 0.8m in width (based on a case-by-case basis).
  6. Any items that resemble weapons (including toys and handmade items) will not be allowed into the aquarium (except merchandise that is sold at Singapore Oceanarium).
  7. Costumes, accessories, and any items that may pose a danger to other guests and team members are not allowed.
  8. For the safety of other guests, you may be asked to remove loose accessories or part(s) of your costume before admission.

Singapore Oceanarium Guidelines for Cosplayers Event*

  1. Please refrain from impersonating Singapore Oceanarium team members or any civil personnel through words, actions, or costumes.
  2. Please refrain from dangerous actions and/or behaviour (e.g., weapon play and/or staged fights) that may hinder Singapore Oceanarium operations or may frighten other guests.
  3. Please refrain from bringing bulky items including makeup trolleys, photography and videography equipment that might potentially injure other guests and/or cause hinderance to Singapore Oceanarium operations by obstructing the walkway.
  4. Please refrain from photography or filming that may be bothersome to other guests.
  5. Please refrain from any activity that requires you to occupy a space for a long period of time thereby causing a hindrance to Singapore Oceanarium operations (e.g., Changing costumes inside bathrooms or occupying mirror space for applying make-up).
  6. For safety reasons, you may be asked to remove parts of your costume, accessories, or cosmetics (e.g., makeup, face paint, or prosthetic makeup) after you have entered the Singapore Oceanarium.

*All props and costumes will be checked before admission into Singapore Oceanarium.

*Singapore Oceanarium is not liable to store and/or watch any part of guests' costumes or props for any amount of time.

*Singapore Oceanarium will not be held responsible for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly to guests' costumes and accessories.

Note:

Any resale of tickets/vouchers is strictly prohibited unless authorized in writing by Us. We reserve the right to invalidate tickets/vouchers in connection with any fraudulent /unauthorized resale transaction, without refund or other compensation. Tickets/vouchers are permitted for one (1) - time usage only. If it is determined by Us that there are multiple copies/usages of the ticket, usage of the ticket will be denied. In the event of any dispute, a final decision shall be made in Our sole and absolute discretion, based on our electronic record. Admissions to the Attractions are subject to the individual Attraction’s rules and regulations. This ticket/voucher is a revocable license and admission to the Attractions/Entitlements may be refused by Us, including where We have refunded you for the price paid for the ticket. Insofar as permitted by applicable law, We shall not be responsible or liable for any damage or loss you may incur, whether such damage or loss is caused by Our negligence or otherwise. Accordingly, by using this ticket, you agree to release Us from all such liability. 
We reserve the right to refuse or expel any person whose conduct is objectionable, and any claims against Us shall be litigated only in the Singapore Courts. We reserves the right to vary or amend any terms and conditions without prior notice.
